Committee Report
Updating our Vision
has been done. See the report by clicking the link above.
Keeping the
same Mission Statement, but changing the focus from the "Youth Zone" (which now
exists inside the Upper Room within the Parish Life Center).
The Updated focus comes from a committee of
7
members and hundreds of ideas addressing where and how the ministry can
continue on its journey and stay within its mission.

While a core number of events and
activities are still managed by the MOHF, others which were initiated by the
MOHF, such as the Sunday donuts & coffee, the spaghetti dinners, the chili
cook-off, and the Fall Festival to name a few, are now managed by other
ministries.

IMAGE and Mission
One of the many ideas is to build up support by
educating the parish of our works. Show the affects of the parish's support of our
larger activities (Tree Sales, Pancake Breakfasts, Fish Fry Dinners, Golf
Outing, etc) via our outreach efforts/results which touch the parish and surrounding
community. One of the methods of educating the parish to our impact upon the
community is to produce a video of 3-5 minutes to be shown in several venues and
events (including our own) around the parish.
Raw footage has been
taken around the parish campus, and interviews have been conducted. Portions of
these activities will be on display soon both on this website and at our events.

Suggested Image for our Stairwell
Display in the PLC:

The scripture at the bottom of the image reads:
"Everyone who was willing and whose heart moved him came and brought an
offering to the LORD for the work..."
- Exodus 35:21
